Foxconn, Dixon seek unallocated Indian subsidies
Foxconn and Dixon Technologies India Ltd. have applied for subsidies under India’s 410 billion rupees (around US$4.8 billion) production-linked incentive (PLI) program, aiming for unallocated funds.
Foxconn is seeking 6 billion rupees (around US$72 million), while Dixon Technologies has requested 1 billion rupees (around US$12 million).
The Indian government is currently reviewing these requests, but no comments have been made by the involved parties or India’s technology ministry.
