FirstCry narrows Q3 loss by 69.5%, revenue up 14.3%
FirstCry, a kids-focused omnichannel retailer, reported a consolidated net loss of 14.78 crore rupees (US$1.68 million) in Q3 FY25, a 69.5% improvement from 48.41 crore rupee (US$5.51 million) a year ago.
This loss was 76.5% lower than the 62.85 crore rupee (US$7.16 million) loss in the previous quarter.
Including other income, total revenue for the quarter reached 2,216.58 crore rupee (US$252.49 million).
Adjusted EBITDA grew by 30% year-on-year to 293 crore rupee (US$33.38 million), driven by strong performance in its India multichannel business.
In this segment, the number of unique transacting customers climbed by 17% to reach 9.8 million.
During the quarter, FirstCry processed 11.1 million orders, and recorded a grossed merchandise value of 2,566.8 crore rupee (US$292.38 million).
FirstCry’s shares experienced a 9.87% decline, closing at 417.90 rupee (US$4.76) on Feb. 8, prior to the results announcement.
