Expedia, Perplexity launch AI travel assistant for trip planning
Expedia Group has launched Comet, a free browser and AI assistant, in partnership with Perplexity.
Comet offers travel planning features such as destination comparison, personalized itineraries, and booking options through a new “Travel” interface.
Expedia is offering users who download Comet a Silver status upgrade in its OneKey loyalty program.
Comet is currently available on desktop, with a mobile version expected soon.
