Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, now allows users to register using international phone numbers.

However, users must still verify their real identity, as required under Chinese cybersecurity laws.

Despite this update, Douyin remains unavailable for download in several regions, including the US, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Douyin has not officially confirmed the availability of registrations from international users.

Customer service representatives have indicated that no recent announcements have been made regarding overseas registration options.
