Delta Air Lines unveils AI assistant for travel, booking

Delta Air Lines presented new technologies and sustainability efforts at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

The company plans to incorporate generative AI into its mobile app under the name “Delta Concierge.”

This tool will provide personalized assistance, including passport reminders and travel suggestions based on delays. It will also offer booking services for destinations.

The airline has partnered with YouTube to offer ad-free streaming on its flights.

The airline also announced a collaboration with Airbus, targeting the use of 95% sustainable aviation fuel by 2050.

Additionally, Delta announced a shift in partnerships, moving from Lyft to Uber for airport transportation services.
