Cybersecurity firm SentinelOne plans 300 job cuts
SentinelOne, a US-listed cybersecurity firm that develops endpoint and cloud security software, is preparing to cut about 10% of its workforce, or roughly 300 jobs.
About 70 of the layoffs are expected to affect employees in Israel, where the company maintains operations, ahead of its financial results due after Nasdaq trading on Thursday.
Quarterly revenue is expected at US$276 million to US$278 million, and the planned cuts appear linked to competition from Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike.
SentinelOne also passed US$1 billion in annual revenue, while profitability weakened slightly.
SentinelOne’s latest disclosed results show it remained loss-making under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in fiscal 2026, but it also posted a 3% non-GAAP operating margin and US$51.9 million in free cash flow.
The company also recorded US$12.3 million in restructuring expense in fiscal 2026, indicating an earlier restructuring cycle, though SentinelOne did not disclose how many employees were affected.
