CrowdStrike to acquire browser security firm Seraphic

CrowdStrike has agreed to acquire Seraphic Security, a browser security company, in a deal expected to close in Q1 FY27.

The company said it will integrate Seraphic’s browser protection with its Falcon platform and SGNL’s continuous authorization technology.

The move aims to add security capabilities for web browsers across managed and unmanaged devices.

CrowdStrike said the acquisition will help address browser-based security risks by extending its protection to popular browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but the purchase will be paid mostly in cash, with some stock subject to vesting.
