CreateAI has opened a new motion capture studio in Beijing, which it says is the largest in Asia.

The facility spans 2,000 square meters at the China Film Group Digital Film Production Base and is equipped with 130 Vicon VK26 cameras.

CreateAI, based in China, develops AI technologies for digital content production.

The studio can capture complex movements from up to 10 performers at once and supports film, animation, and AAA video game projects.

It includes a control room for real-time monitoring, as well as spaces for makeup, props, and meetings.

The company said the facility also supports research in AI-driven content creation and high-precision motion datasets.

CreateAI plans to use the studio for projects such as its upcoming video game, Heroes of Jin Yong.
