Chinese 3D printing startup Second Life closes Series A for global expansion

Second Life, a Chinese 3d printing company, has raised nearly US$10 million in a Series A funding round. This round was led by Nano Labs, with participation from Daocin Capital.

Founded in 2013, the Hangzhou-based company uses 3D scanning technology that can capture a full-body portrait in just 0.3 seconds and reconstruct a 3D model in 10 minutes to make customized 3D figures of people and pets as well as digital avatars.
