StarkWare, an Israeli blockchain infrastructure company, has appointed Lior Goldberg as its new chief technology officer.

Goldberg has been with StarkWare since its inception and has significantly influenced its technological development.

StarkWare focuses on scaling solutions for blockchain networks, such as Ethereum and Bitcoin.

The company is valued at US$8 billion as of 2022 and employs over 200 people worldwide.

Goldberg joined StarkWare seven years ago, founded and led the team behind Starknet, a Layer 2 blockchain on Ethereum.
