Fluent Labs, a blockchain development company, has raised US$8 million in seed funding led by Polychain Capital.

Other participants include Primitive, dao5, Symbolic Capital, Builder Capital, Nomad Capital, and Public Works, along with angel investors like Balaji Srinivasan, Mustafa Al-Bassam, and Santiago Santos.

The funding will support the development of its Ethereum Layer 2 platform, designed to integrate various virtual machine environments into a single execution network.

The company’s valuation after the funding remains undisclosed.

Fluent Labs plans to use the investment to expand its 17-member engineering team and build the infrastructure for its testnet.

The company aims to simplify blockchain development and enhance compatibility across different virtual machines.
