Alibaba’s gaming subsidiary, Lingxi Games, will remove its mobile strategy game Three Kingdoms Tactics from the Vivo app store on March 7, 2025.

The company did not provide specific reasons for the removal, but users can request refunds for any unused game credits.

Launched in 2019, Three Kingdoms Tactics generated over US$1 billion in revenue within its first two years and was ranked eighth on Apple’s China app store as of November 2024.

Vivo has yet to comment on the situation, and Lingxi has referred back to its original statement regarding the change.
