Nordic startup Renow has secured €1.8 million (US$2 million) in seed funding to expand its AI-powered recommerce platform across Northern Europe.

The funding, led by Greencode Ventures with Superhero Capital and Street Smart Capital, will help Renow expand into Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Benelux region.

The company aims to streamline the handling and resale of returned and second-hand goods by providing merchants with tools for remote inspections and grading.

Its platform supports decentralized logistics, speeding up processing and reducing waste, with resold items backed by a 12-month warranty.

Renow already works with retailers in Finland, Sweden, and Norway, and will use the funds to scale its platform, logistics, and team.
