We first told you about My365 (my365.in) late last year. It’s a fun photo app from Japan that has the interesting twist of presenting your pictures in a neatly-designed calendar layout (see below), so you can browse them easily according to when they were taken. The premise is to capture the most memorable moment of each day.
The iPhone app appears to be doing quite well since then, claiming over a million downloads [1] throughout Asia and North American in the five months it has been public. At that time CyberAgent (TYO:4751) had announced a new 100 percent consolidated company named Sirok Inc to run My365. We learned at that time that an Android version would be coming soon.
And today we finally have the Android version of My365, and it’s available as a free download from Google Play here. It will be interesting to see if the Android version can follow with the same success as in iOS. I have a feeling it will do pretty well!
Earlier today we also learned that another popular photo app from Japan, Line Camera, is doing even better still in terms of download numbers. In less than one month since its release, the app has racked up 5 million downloads.
