Mobile Usage in Japan, United States and Europe [INFOGRAPHIC]

mobile-connectIn terms of mobile usage, Japanese is the most connected group as compared to Americans and Europeans. That is the conclusion drawn from the infographic created by Metagrafic powered with comScore data.

‘Connection’ here is defined as the proportion of the mobile users who use connected media (users who have browsed, accessed applications or downloaded content through the mobile phone). 75% of the Japanese cell phone users use connected media, far greater than Americans and Europeans, at 44% and 39% respectively.

However, Americans triumph in terms of social media usage through the mobile phone. 1 out of 5 Americans mobile users access social network and blog while on the move. Facebook, which has over 200 million mobile users, is the most visited social network through the mobile phone in U.S and Europe. MySpace is surprisingly ranked second in U.S. Twitter is widely used across the three regions. More information below:
