Here in Japan summer has practically arrived, and for iPad lovers planning to cool off at the beach, they are faced with the problem of waterproofing. Thanks to case-maker Tunewear, we have a solution to take to the seaside. Water Wear is a dry pouch for your iPad that you can wear around your neck as you wade into the waves.
The folks over at AppBank have taken it out for a dry run (see what I did there?) so check that out in the video below. They warn that the case is not designed for sustained underwater use however, so if you do need a completely waterproof solution, then try DriPro for iPad.
Personally I can’t imagine taking an iPad into the ocean, but a case like this might come in handy in the bath for sure. Is Jaws available on iTunes yet?
